Expert Witness Testimony

Clients who have used our expert testimony services include government agencies, bankruptcy courts, financial institutions, legal and accounting firms and many other businesses. In many cases, our independent, supportable analysis has allowed clients to settle cases without going to court.

In order to be most effective as an expert witness, an appraiser should remain unbiased in performing an appraisal of real property. Appraisers as Expert Witnesses are not advocates for one side or the other; however, they are advocates for their opinion. A good appraiser can also be most effective as a consultant, advising legal counsel of the relative strengths and weaknesses of a property or an appraisal, assist with developing a cross-examination of opposing experts, as well as direct questioning an expert to best present a case for property value.
