John Martin, SRA is a California State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (OREA # AG002578) as well as a licensed Real Estate Broker (DRE # 00602261).  John has been active in the real estate industry in various capacities since 1974 and a full-time appraiser since 1986.  His experience includes appraising complex residential properties, multi-residential properties, land and income property; he is also active in real estate investment and development.  He is an SRA designated member of The Appraisal Institute and has served on the Board of Directors of the Monterey Bay Chapter of The Appraisal Institute for three years.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco (USF) and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses, seminars, and advanced appraisal courses.  The Appraisal Institute, the California Office of Real Estate Appraisers and California Department of Real Estate all require continuing education for renewal and/or recertification.  John is currently recertified with all three.  You can contact John at john@frankmay.com
