Sally Huber
Sally Jo Huber has been appraising with Frank O. May and Associates since 1988. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Master’s Degree in Sociology from San Jose State University, with emphasis on demographic analysis. She was a Real Estate Salesperson from 1978 to 1988. She has also worked with a Survey Research Firm doing marketing and feasibility studies. Real Estate courses including appraisal related courses have been completed at the college level. Standards of Professional Practice, Real Estate Appraisal Principles, Residential Valuation, Basic Valuation Principles, Capitalization Theory and Techniques, Part A and B, and Narrative Report Writing, have been successfully completed through the Appraisal Institute.
She has appraised various property types including, but not limited to: agricultural land, office buildings, retail buildings, industrial buildings, mixed-use commercial properties, hotels, motels, convalescent hospitals, vacant land, warehouses, restaurants, condominium projects, multi‑residential, single family residences, proposed construction projects, special-use properties, easements and Eminent Domain. She has also done negotiation and acquisitions on Eminent Domain projects for several government agencies.
Sally is especially adept at analyzing social data, that is, analyzing community supply and demand factors influencing the potential development of large, proposed projects. Especially in the outlying expansion communites of the San Francisco Bay and Monterey Bay (California) areas.
She is a certified general appraiser with the State of California, Office of Real Estate Appraisers (#AG007125).
